Draft — pending legal review. This document is a structural draft written to match how Playable actually works. A qualified attorney must review and finalise it — including wagering-law compliance — before launch. Anything still to be decided is marked like this.
Playable works because friends trust each other and trust the record. These guidelines exist to protect that.
Be someone worth calling
- Concede honestly. The whole system depends on people admitting when they lose.
- Don’t dispute in bad faith. Disputes are for genuine disagreement, not to dodge a debt.
- Settle what you owe in a reasonable time, by whatever method you and your friend agree on.
Content
- Only post video or photos of people who know they are being filmed and are comfortable being shared with the Call’s participants.
- No content involving minors in compromising situations, no harassment, and no content that endangers someone — including encouraging dangerous stunts as a bet.
- No hate speech, no sexual content involving minors, and nothing that violates another person’s privacy or safety.
Stakes
- Stakes should be legal where you are and appropriate for the people involved. Playable is built for friendly wagers — cash, meals, chores, bragging rights — not high-stakes or predatory betting.
- Don’t use Playable to get around local gambling law or age restrictions.
Enforcement
We may remove content, warn, suspend, or ban accounts that violate these guidelines, at our discretion, under the Terms of Service.
