1. What Playable is
Playable lets friends create informal wagers (“Calls”) on real-world outcomes, optionally attach video or photo evidence, resolve outcomes by group vote, and track running tabs of what is owed. Playable does not hold, transfer, process, or take a cut of any money or item wagered. All settlement between users happens outside the app, by whatever method they choose; Playable only records that a debt exists and lets users mark it settled.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least minimum age to be set per jurisdiction and app-store policy years old to use Playable. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including any local restrictions on wagering between private individuals.
3. Not a gambling operator
Playable is a social record-keeping and content-sharing tool, not a bookmaker, a casino, or a money-transmission service. We do not set odds, accept wagers, or facilitate payment. Any stakes — cash or otherwise — are agreements solely between the users involved. Playable is not a party to them and assumes no liability for their outcome, collection, or enforceability.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of any video, photo, or text you post. By posting, you grant Playable a licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the app to the participants and audiences you choose. You are responsible for having the right to film and share everyone who appears in your content, and for complying with our Community Guidelines.
5. Resolution and disputes
Calls are resolved by the participants themselves, through claims and votes recorded in the app. Playable does not adjudicate disputes. If participants cannot agree on an outcome, that disagreement is reflected in the app’s record but is not resolved, arbitrated, or guaranteed by Playable.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Playable to facilitate wagers prohibited by law in your jurisdiction; to harass, defame, or endanger another person; to post content you do not have rights to; or to attempt to extract money-transmission functionality from the app, which has none.
7. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Playable is provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Playable is not liable for losses arising from wagers, disputes between users, or reliance on any vote outcome recorded in the app.
